staving off the crotchety old b*tch within
I was once teaching ESL in Las Vegas; this was after leaving one grad program and before flaking out on another. The class was held in the North Paw of the Sphinx right outside the Luxor. Seriously. Anyway, one of my students was writing an essay about his experiences in the US, and he was very disappointed that he was too old to attend high school. Even so, he remained optimistic and said, "Still, I have happy."

dude. i lost my freaking cat 10 days ago. i've been searching hi and lo for ever. fliers, knocking on doors. it's pathetic. love that little funny looking cat while you have him keri. oops, i mean extremely attractive photogenic cat.
why will he not be photogenic?? his relative is stately and stunning?
I'm not a cat person but that's cute. I say "that" cause it doesn't really look like a cat but it's still cute.
