On Saturday, we made a quick trip to another local liquor store. Though their selection is a little spotty, they're much less annoying than the folks at this shop. Also, their advertising methods seem to speak to a range of consumers:

I was once teaching ESL in Las Vegas; this was after leaving one grad program and before flaking out on another. The class was held in the North Paw of the Sphinx right outside the Luxor. Seriously. Anyway, one of my students was writing an essay about his experiences in the US, and he was very disappointed that he was too old to attend high school. Even so, he remained optimistic and said, "Still, I have happy."
